East Bloomfield is a small, rural community whose roots run deep in agriculture. In neighboring towns, though, you’ll find several attractions: Eastview Mall in Victor, Bristol Mountain Ski Resort in Bristol, and Canandaigua Lake and Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Site in Canandaigua. Just northeast of East Bloomfield is the Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack.

Local Museums/Landmarks
The Bloomfield Academy Museum is the home of the East Bloomfield Historical Society. The museum faces the village green and is a former school building. The Antique Wireless Association Museum, off of Routes 5 & 20 at South Avenue, covers electronic communication from the earliest telegraphs to wireless development. The East Bloomfield Historic District and the George and Addison Wheeler House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as are two churches in the village of Bloomfield. The Ganondagan State Historic Site, a former Seneca Indian village, is a quick drive north in Victor.
